There's always a warm welcome at the PITMAN Training UK On-Line Centre in Eastleigh. We are at Grayton House on the pedestrian walkway linking Market Street (Costa Coffee) and High Street (Iceland). We are open to all-comers on Mondays, Wednesday mornings and Fridays and at present we are operating a special project for people with disabilities and/or learning difficulties (whether employed or not). We have full disabled access so even if you need to use a wheelchair just give us a call and we'll ensure you are met on arrival if you need extra help.
Our special project means that people with a disability or a learning difficulty can learn internet skills with us but also can often do an extra course free of charge. Some have gone on to study an IT topic, gain the CSCS Card to enable employment on construction sites or do food hygiene training. There's also some scope for basic book-keeping training courses.

The Meadows Centre offers a number of services; the UK Online Centre providing friendly advice & help to learn how to use PC’s, the internet & email, supported by a trained member of staff, plus volunteers, a work club runs 4 times a week helping with CV, letter writing, job searching & job applications. The National Careers service gives 1 to 1 support & guidance, Basic English and Maths courses & confidence building courses. The Meadows Centre is situated in the centre of Eastleigh in easy reach from the train and bus station.
The Meadows UK Online Centre runs an outreach centre at Pilands Wood Centre, Chamberlayne Road, Bursledon SO31 8DT, offering basic computer skills in conjunction with First Wessex Housing, who runs a Work Club at the Centre.
A new outreach centre is planned to open at Velmore Community Centre, Falkland Road Chandlers Ford, SO53 3GE in the New Year.
