Becoming a UK online centre

Around 47% of UK online centres are based in libraries, with the remainder voluntary and community sector, adult education or private sector venues.

The vast majority are open to the general public whilst 5% are targeted exclusively at specific groups - for instance in homeless shelters or women's refuges.

UK online centres are based in the places and communities where they can work with the people that need them most. More than half of UK online centres are in the 2,000 most deprived wards in England. Most are open at least five days a week and offer drop-in, free access to technology and support in using it.

If you're interested in becoming a UK online centre, please contact the Regional Manager in your area to find out more.
